ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES

Our check-in time is anytime, but please inform us prior if you scheduled arrival time is after 10pm. Our check-out time is 10am. Guests are expected to leave their room in a reasonable state and if not may be charged an extra cleaning fee as deemed appropriate by Management. Late check-outs may be available upon prior arrangement; please liaise with the Management team to discuss this option. A _10.00 fee may be applied for a guest checking out after 10am who has not made prior arrangement to do so.

STRICTLY NO SMOKING POLICY FOR ALL ROOMS

Ginkgo Hostel has a strict no-smoking policy. Management reserves the right to impose a maximum fine of _50.00 for non-compliance. Your credit card will be charged accordingly if you or anyone in your party smokes in your room.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR

It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that his/her behaviour does not detrimentally affect the comfort or safety of other guests or visitors in the building. Management has the right to eject guests from the building if it is deemed that his/her behaviour is inappropriate and any accommodation charges previously levied will not be refunded.

BOOKINGS BY INTERNET

When booking online you will be charged a 10% deposit. This is taken by the booking engine and not Ginkgo Hostels and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Any questions or concerns regarding your deposit should be taken up with the relevant booking engine. The balance owing is due in full, upon arrival. Please make sure the details of your booking are correct as we cannot take responsibility for any mistakes made. The 10% deposit is calculated on a per person per night basis. Changes to the number of people or nights could result in a loss of some or all of your deposit

We do accept Euros. We do not accept cheques. We do accept most credit and debit cards, but not American Express or Diners Club

GINKGO HOSTEL'S PROPERTY

On check in- all guests will be given linen and keys. These items are the property of The Ginkgo Hostel and are to be returned on check out. If any item is lost or damaged a charge of _10 for a room key, _5 for a locker key and _10 for the linen will be charged to the credit card of the individual concerned, or if appropriate, the Group Leader. Management reserves the right to collect a _15 deposit refundable upon check-out for secure linen and keys.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

Except in relation to death or severe personal injury caused by our severe negligence Ginkgo Hostel does not accept liability for the death, sickness or injury to any guest or for the loss, theft or damage to any guest property however sustained or caused. It is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that their belongings are secure at all times.

LIABILITY OF THE PREMISES

The owners of the premises, situated under 1053 Budapest, Szép utca 5. registered under 24191/0/A/4, 5, 6, hereby inform any and all persons that any and all liability of the Owners of the Premises is excluded as regards any and all activity performed in, persons present at, and belongings deposited in or brought to the Premises mentioned above. Please, be warned that any and all conduct in any and all reference to the Premises shall be performed within the sole and exclusive own scope of liability of the actor.

BY MAKING A RESERVATION AND OR CHECKING INTO OUR PREMISES YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE ABOVE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
